In 2017, Gallup and Strada surveyed more than 32,000 college students and found that only a third of students believe they will graduate with the skills and knowledge to be successful in the job market (34%) and in the workplace (36%). The time required tends to increase with longer programs, such as bachelor’s degree programs which take more time to complete and risk greater disruption to students who are already enrolled in the program. How to Align Education with the Labor Market
